Face To Face was the first classic-era Kinks album I bought, during that dark age when the only way you could buy the Pye albums were through those genuinely terrible Spanish represses. I think it cost $2.99 in a remainder bin at the Hastings Records on 50th Avenue in Lubbock when I was in high school.

Talmy's last record with them was Something Else, for my money their all-time masterpiece.
