In retrospect, I vaguely respect the first Tin Machine album, in that I now see what he was going for. But if anyone asked me to name the single worst album of Bowie's entire career, I would immediately say Tin Machine II, and would further point at Hunt Sales' blues-wank moaner "Stateside" as the worst song Bowie ever recorded.
